Think about coordinating thank you cards + rehearsal dinner invites.  Like this awesome bride.   Gifts start arriving after your guests receive their invites.  It's much less daunting to complete a few thank you's at a time instead of saving them all for the honeymoon. I also do programs, table cards, place cards, favor tags and whatever else you want. 

I was asked to do a Mickey Mouse themed birthday invite for a little boy soon to be 2!  Woot! Woot!  Yes, please!  I came up with a few designs. She chose the boy, which we customized to match her curly blonde haired blue eyed boy. ta da...the final product! 

Monday was off to a great start!  A new and fresh week was starting.  The sun was shining brightly. The birds were chirping. My mom was here watching the little kids. I was working away. I went to the kitchen to grab lunch and returned to this... This is my computer which came down with something yucky in a matter of minutes. I left a message for my computer dr. guy.  Adler (in potty training/potty learning) dropped her nuk in the toilet after going potty.  I decided not to cry and work on cutting a couple weddings with this big guy My thoughts were wishing I had a tech person on staff.  Someday. Someday, I'll have one on staff.  Then the mail arrived!  My day started looking up again.  I received this order in the mail.  Delighted with how it was tied. I mean look at that button!   Made me giddy & had to share. Yesterday, my Paxton + Avery turned 7! Seven years has flown by. Too fast. {Paxton wasn't feeling the best} Saturday we celebrated with family.  Sunday their actual big day!  Paxton woke with a bad tummy ache. He managed to play wii (their b-day gift) for a bit. Then spent the rest of the day, sleeping, aching, not feeling well.  After many tears were shed, we made a very difficult decision to keep their friend b-day party as rescheduled.  Avery ended up with her own party. All their friends sang happy birthday to Paxton, which I captured on video.  It was strange to not have him their but it went well.  Fun was had, games were played, cake was eaten.  This explains how bad he felt. He and the little kids were at my parent, so we brought his gifts and he didn't even want to open them.  Until much much later.  Today, he is home. Trying to figure out what it is. Last year I worked with Jessica on their Skyline save the dates and recently finished their wedding invitations.  Love how sophisticated they turned out.

My kids (especiall my little kids) love the Move it! Move it! song!  They know it from the Madagascar movie and it seemed perfect for this post.  My oldest kids will be 7 on March 11 and this year they are having their very first friend party!  Their very first friend party that we had to postpone from the 3rd to the 11th because they were out of school 3 and 4 days with fevers + 2 sick parents + 1 sick sibling didn't make for a F.U.N. party.   Instead of sending everyone home with hand sanitizer & germs, I contacted all parents on new party date. Whew! Thankfully everyone got the message since no one showed up on our door step ready to party. These invites are freshly illustrated by me after my nascar/hotwheel loving boy & animal loving girl informed me they didn't want separate parties. Sometimes you have to wipe the tears (mine more than theirs) roll with the punches and move it move it! Because life and illness happen. They are gearing up for a full party week
